What is a text QR code?

A text QR code stores raw characters—anything from a short message to structured data (for example Wi‑Fi strings or vCards) that an app knows how to interpret. This tool encodes exactly what you type; it does not shorten URLs or track scans.

How to use

  1. Type or paste the text under Text to encode—that becomes the QR payload.
  2. Optionally add Top message and/or Bottom text (preview sheet only—they are not encoded in the QR). Check Show encoded text on preview to show the main text under the download buttons.
  3. The Print preview stays visible beside the editor. Use the Advanced tab for error correction, size, colors, logo, and raw payload.
  4. Download PNG (with logo if used) or SVG from the preview card.
